COVID vaccines - need advice

I have had my two double COVID vaccination for when I go to Spain in June but I think the person who give me the second vaccine when I went on New Year's Eve given me the 1st one again as I have just noticed now, she give me the same one as the first vaccine, that can't be right can it? should it not be a different vaccine? it states on my COVID pass on my NHS app the following for both vaccines: Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. I am bit confused! I am 35 years old if that makes any difference.
Any advice would be great thank you.

Receiving two doses of the same vaccine is, if not 100% standard practice, then very common, although when you get the booster that may well be a different one.0

Ok, will I still be able to enter Spain with the both same vaccine? if rules still not changed by June.eskbanker said:Receiving two doses of the same vaccine is, if not 100% standard practice, then very common, although when you get the booster that may well be a different one.0 -
Perfectly normal. All 3 of mine have been Pfizer.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

100% correct. Unless there is a medical reason, all second vaccines are the same as the first throughout the UK.
Boosters will be Pfizer or Half dose Moderna, irrespective of what vaccine was used for the first 2, unless someone can’t tolerate an mRNA vaccine.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You’ll need dose 3 to enter the EU from 1st Feb too.Jack_bauer24 said:

All 3 of mine have been Pfizer too, you'll be fine.elsien said:Perfectly normal. All 3 of mine have been Pfizer.
I believe that all boosters are either Pfizer or Moderna for most people.💙💛 💔0 -
Unless you're thinking of something different, the EU change from next month is to expire primary vaccination status after nine months, i.e. affecting anyone vaccinated before May 2021 (and rolling thereafter) but unboosted since then. OP, only given his second dose of the primary vaccination last Friday, wouldn't be impacted by these new rules....mattyprice4004 said:

Indeed. There was evidence that giving a Pfizer booster to those who had AZ for the first two doses was more beneficial than giving a third AZ dose but no evidence to suggest the reverse was more beneficial than a 3rd dose of Pfizer. In fact the risk of side effects is higher if you have 2 x Pfizer/Moderna followed by AZ.CKhalvashi said:

The UK has a lot more Pfizer doses available than Moderna, so most people who had Pfizer for the first two doses, will get the same again.
