Search isn't working for me, neither using Edge nor Chrome (haven't tried others).
I use Chrome by default and no results show for a web search (although they do flicking across to image or video results) but still got a search "win" on the blank page
This has now started happening to me (Chrome on Windows 7).  I have tried clearing cache and cookies, and removing the search engine as default and then defaulting to it again, but nothing works.  Have either of you any idea how to get it going again?

Started happening again for me a while ago (after fixing itself for a short time) - doesn't seem to make any difference to the chances of getting a search win and as I just click a few swag searches the actual results don't matter to me as only after the reward

Has anyone had problems with the videos on the Ascendmedia offer wall. When I go to log in, it states "Too many log in attempts. Please try again in 30 minutes or log in with Facebook or Google" I did try again a few hours later but received the the same message.
Yes I am getting the same issue, resetting my password clears it temporarily but it comes back.

Exact same for me on Firefox Windows 7; I had put it down to not having updated since they did something particularly awful to the UI. Anyway not just Chrome.
  • Hello,

    Warning: ramble ahead

I've found MSE to be a great source of reliable prudent advice going back (20 ish?) years, although other things took priority in recent years. I'm now retired so more time but less money so have renewed my attention.

I followed the MSE link to swagbucks thinking that this would be an easy £30 especially given the Experian credit score (which I know only takes a few minutes) accounted for three-quarters of the required 1000 points.

How do I get the rest easily in the next two weeks??

I started one of the surveys, which started by asking what I regarded as very intrusive questions, the sort of thing which I thought could lead to lots of spam or possibly assist identity fraud. I carried on however but before I finished it, it 'declined'. So no more of those.

Ok, games then. I started one which would only have generated 130 points but was clearly going to take in the region of 30 to 40 hours to get to the required level. So which games can generate the remaing 250 points easily?

I have checked the advice regarding regular daily tasks but none seem to generate the necessary amount in time. As for other things, I can't use my browser for swagbucks as nothing seems to be compatible with my Android phone or iPad?

Back to the original point of my ramble, I've always regarded MSE have as giving good advice but here I think they have pointed me down a rabbit hole! Even the Experian score is 'pending' and it's beginning to feel like a time wasting con. Advice please!

Swagbucks is ok and you can earn from it but do not expect it to make you rich, I have been using Swagbucks for about 12 years now and I generate around £25 per month with about 10 minutes effort per day.

Games: I never do more than the 10 points games each day (takes about 2 minutes) - others either do not pay or take ages.
Poll: easy 1 point per day
Discover: I give most of these a miss but there are some quick ones and HideoutTV is worth a look
Swag codes: usually one every day for a quick 2 - 3 SB
Search: always get at least one usually more per day (between 5 - 15 SB per day)
Streak: I never try and go above Goal 1 as this will just cause the AI to raise the daily goal - ( gain around 200 - 300SB per month and also Goal bonus's for December I am due just under 500 bonus SB)
SWAGO - I dont try to complete it and get at least 35 SB per board
Surveys: I try and get one a day but dont ever go for the ones that expect me to spend 30 minutes and I will not allow them to install any plugins!
Swagbutton: definite must to install in your browser (it prompts you when a swag code has been released)
Shopping: we all shop online occasionally (200 SB in the last month shopping online)

Over the years I have bought a TV, Samsung smart blue-ray layer, various books, Music, Car roof box etc. to name a few all bought via Amazon using SB rewards.

There are a few rewards sites out there but from my experience Swagbucks is one of the better ones.
