Anyone having problems with prepaid MasterCards recently? Sorry this one is a bit long and complex, but I’m hoping someone can help.
I always get the £10 pre-paid virtual MasterCard’s for 1300 points; otherwise I have to convert 1400 points to go direct to PayPal. I add them as a funding method to my PayPal account and then send £10 cash to my wife’s PayPal as a “friends and family” payment, selecting the MasterCard as the payment method. This efficiently converts the card into cash without any PayPal fees - a great tip I got from this forum a couple of years ago and it’s worked well ever since (thanks to whoever suggested it!).
This morning this method failed. For the first time, when adding the card to PayPal, a message popped up within PayPal saying that MasterCard was sending me an OTP and there was a box in which to enter the code. I got the OTP via text and email, and duly entered it (note this was in addition to the OTP that PayPal always sends me via text when I login to my account). This seemed to work and the card was accepted. However, when I then tried to make a payment in the normal way, I got a message (within PayPal) saying MasterCard had declined the payment. I removed the card from PayPal, and then added it again, thinking I made a mistake the first time, but again, the card was accepted but the payment declined.
I have also logged into my prepaiddigitalsolutions.com account and the new card is still showing as being £10 in credit, together with a list of all the old empty ones as normal.
Has anyone else had this experience recently? If so, how did you resolve it?

They really value our time. Not.4 -
I clicked on that just to see what the heck it was, got immediately DQ'd so earned a fifth of the total payout for 1 second work. Not sure what the maths on that is, but I think I made a profit lol.2
