  • Glad you're feeling better.  I love a good Friday night curry, will be a bonus if you get it for free!  Everyone deserves a good night out now and then. I certainly have had some great nights lately :)

I tend to keep all my receipts incase any are useful for snapping!

Do you find they pay out well? I used zipzero a while back and have about £11 pending for months. Not sure how to release it 😂

  • They’re changing the format next month so if I understand it correctly you can cash out £10 each month from your base rewards.  This is good, because I have £109 in there!!

  • Sorry, I didn’t answer your question. Snap my eats is £5 per month but then the others take longer.

Thanks LMD, maybe I’ll have a look - I stopped using zipzero when all I was getting was pending, maybe I’ll try again if they are starting to release funds!

I’m just looking at my accounts willing more money to appear. HSBC still haven’t got Fridays transactions as pending… but i fear with today being first working day since, they might take the money (although I can still hope 😂) Feeling really good about finances currently. CC will be gone by the end of the month and that will be the first time I have been clear on CCs for years. Super excited! I know I’ll still have loan, but I’ll be able to focus all my efforts on that and it’ll be gone in no time, I hope!

The whole interest rates rising is scaring me, although my mortgage has 18months left on fix, I’m starting to think of ways to build as much as a buffer in meantime and still attack loan! It’s nice watching my savings account grow, but not so nice when I know a load is just for the next tax bill (hence not ploughing that onto debt!).

Hope everyone is keeping positive 🙂

  • How exciting that you will be free of credit card debt by the end of the month- that's amazing work!!

I know what you mean about the interest rates, it's getting a bit crazy and I don't know about you but our mortgage is £150k we already pay £300 a month in interest and that's on a low rate! We can only hope that something settles down soon.  I can't understand the BoE though, as the inflation is mainly due to gas and electric prices and it's impact on groceries, not due to people going out and spending willy-nilly... it doesn't make any sense.

All we can do is hope and pray

Just paid loan instalment this month and it takes me under £7k!

Waiting to cash out from prolific, I have £5 odd pending… and accepted a marking contract for January so that’ll give me some extra pennies in the new year. Time to do some more work 🙂

  • Well done!! It’s so good to smash through a £k barrier isn’t it?
