Each to their own, but does it really matter what a credit card looks like?
I’m not bothered what it looks like, for me the positive is that it takes up less space in my wallet as it’s no longer embossed.
It’’s also likely of interest for anyone partially sighted, as the notch on the new card is helpful for knowing which way to insert the card into a reader etc.
I don't suppose they're in any hurry to redesign the legacy black Cashback card.
You are probably right - if I recall they did not change the design of the legacy OnePulse or Freedom cards when previous branding changes took place - they only updated the cards for those products currently available.
