Proetected No Claims when does it start from?

Ah.
So is the following correct?
You had a protected NCD on your old policy but also had a claim. Because of the protection your NCD was not affected.
You then took a new policy out with a different company, again protecting your NCD but also declaring the claim with the first insurer?
If that is correct then you need to check how many claims the new company allows before your NCD is affected.
I'm wondering if they will include the previous claim and in this scenario if your NCD is affected but not by as much as without the protection.0
