LloydsPharmacy Click & Collect (Item never arrived and Customer Service do not respond)

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar to me. I ordered an electric toothbrush using the LloydsPharmacy Click & Collect route. The item was good value and I thought it would make a good present for Christmas.
I was emailed a few days later confirming it was ready for collection at my local Lloyds Pharmacy. The pharmacy staff looked but said it hadn't arrived. I was told to contact Customer Services as the shop was nothing to do with the Click & Collect, except for it being a collection point.
It is now after Christmas and still Customer Service do not answer the phones, no matter which option you select and they do not respond to the contact us form. I have tried calling on several occasions , waiting over 15 minutes each time and I have filled in two contact us forms without reply. I ordered the item at the end of November, the email advising on collection was 2nd December.
I even tried calling into another Lloyds Pharmacy to see if they could process the refund but had the same response. In fact, the lady I spoke to said that the firm who run the Click & Collect was being sold. I only want my money back but if they don't respond what are my options!?
Looking on TrustPilot I can see several other people are in the same situation, there are a few 1-star reviews from the past week so I think it is a wider problem.
Do I have to use my credit card to reclaim the money?
