Daliah, you never “get rid of” an addiction!  It’s with you forever more.  You just try to get through one day at a time and put safety measures in place!
If you are not able to control your addiction, just make sure you are not in possession of an instrument that could render you n debt. I.e., get someone who has POA and surrender all your bank cards.

If this, and support from Gamcare (have you sought their support? yes or no?), doesn't work for you, the only other alternatives you have are to either assume responsibility for yourself, or be a slave to gambling. Your choice, really.

Some do - Morrisons and Asda have with me previously.

Google/Apple Pay as I've never been offered cashback on these. Revolut might be a option too if switching off ATM access and Gambling as I've never been offered cashback with it's cards.
  • A prepaid card like Revolut, a standing order of £10 a day into it…then your partner still keeps your card but has no hassle with looking after your daily spends?! x
