Hi all! Thanks so much to everyone who's submitted an update this quarter.

Thanks @julicorn for the update. Even though it felt like we've had very little overpayments recently, it was good to see we're still green!

Exciting news (for us), having grown increasingly despondent at how quickly our mortgage interest rate was increasing, and correspondingly seeing the interest charged each month go higher and higher despite overpaying, we decided to take the bull by the horns in January (though after our FiT update) and made a massive overpayment. This did take a large percentage of our readily available cash, but reserves can be rebuilt.

Anyway, normal monthly payment was taken on 1 Feb, taking the remaining balance below £200 and today we called the bank, asked for a redemption figure, and paid off that remaining balance. So, although we haven't yet had confirmation from the bank, we are effectively mortgage free!
