No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Sorry to be a pain, but I don't think you've updated my third chart correctly. You've amended my starting and target as a result of moving house and taking on a much larger mortgage, but have copied the current balance from Chart 2. On 25th October, the balance was £422,151.67. I'm number 99. As it currently stands, I look like I'm doing stonkingly well
