Ooh, I like the sound of working when no-one else is!
I went back to ironing after catching sight of myself in a full-length mirror in a hotel and realising how scruffy I looked (no idea why I'd never had the same epiphany from the one at home 🤷♀️)! Ironing was stage one, before buying new clothes (have since bought a few, and they also get ironed 😀)
Anyway, "Iron work clothes" ✅
Am sitting on my bum now, DIY tomorrow 😱!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

What DIY do you need to do?6

Ah yes, I’ve had moments like that before when I’ve realised the creases haven’t fallen out like I had hoped 😂 I prefer clothes that don’t need ironing though…MFW diary Adventures and Overpayments

It's quite satisfying when you know that there's literally nothing that's waiting on you though! Or is it just me that enjoys being a bit smug at work every now and then 🤣?
It's my usual DIY, KP - pulling things apart and adding to the general air of disaster 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I recommend a large unwieldy hammer then!6

I have a spreadsheet to help with my smugness... it clearly shows where everything that's overdue is down to other people not having done stuff. So there's no debate.
Enjoy the DIY. I have a bolt to sort out on the front door, and screws to cut down on the back door keyhole cover. I'm sure there's other stuff on the list too, but those are the easy items.6 -

Good morning all, and happy new year 😀!
2022 seems to have started just as 2021 ended - with wind and rain 🌧 🙄 Yawn. I really struggled waking up this morning, so am not feeling particularly motivated to do anything, but I've just sold a couple of bits to We Buy Books (left them in my basket yesterday and they sent me a code for an extra 10% - on top of the 15% code I'd already used, so it felt rude not to 🤣!), so I do at least need to go and find an appropriate box! I did make a start on the DIY yesterday evening though, so just the noisy and messy stuff to do now - must get out of bed and get going!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
