Anyway, no money now in Santander πŸ˜€! I CBA to contact them to close the accounts though (just counted, and I have sixteen of them 🀣🀣🀣), so will leave them to run their course as I'm pretty sure they close them automatically after a few years if there is a zero balance and no transactions.Β
Emails today to confirm 6 accounts will be closed on 18/03 - we are on our way πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Just watch out though - I’ve not had a personal account with them since we ended the mortgage (check signature - was it 2.5 years ago?). I opened Ed’s suggested savings accounts for TCB last week and magically I had an online account - ie they had just reactivated it. While it was useful in this case, I am not at all impressed that they had been sitting on my details for that time - including log in details that could have been compromised if they’d been hacked and I wouldn’t have been aware I was affected, thinking I no longer had any business with them.

Thanks for the heads-up, Vix, but I knew I still had all these accounts open with them. I've also carried out Ed's savings hack, so they'll have me on file for a while yet

@South_coast I'm waiting patiently for another Y Live Β£50 to pay out, now sitting at Β£52 πŸ™‚

Also with you on sliders, especially when you accidentally swipe out of the survey/window because of them! 🀬

Oohh I'mΒ  bit behind with the Sainsbury's round up - only managed a 2nd place this year for Milky Bar Mousse purchases (DH's sweet snack of coice) and all our top 3 products were dairy based πŸ˜‚
