We shouldn't have mentioned them, I haven't seen a 15-minute study since this chat, have obviously jinxed ourselves 😅3

Just catching up, your cc's are going down nicely!
I have 2 large monitors at home for my Mac laptop, but somehow have not been doing many prolifics at allDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Are you getting the 15-minute ones SC?
I've been getting offered the 1-hour ones all day but too much work and not enough inclination.
Also saw an insane one you could complete 20x - $250 for less than 10 hoursNow if only I didn't have to a) sleep and b) work tomorrow

Moneybox have launched an "invest the interest" tool, where they'll whisk away your interest each month and stash it in an S&S ISA - which has certainly got me "interested" (sorry 😅!)
I've not put anything into my S&S at all in 2025, as I've been focusing on the cards (it's still done pretty well though - up £1150 on the year so far, despite Mr Trump's Adventures in Tarriffs 🤯); and on the current schedule, I won't be putting anything in until July 2027. This feels like a long time to be out of the market, even if what I do have is quietly doing its thing in the background. This would see c£100 going into S&S each month at no cost to me, and it doesn't count towards the ISA allowance as it's already within the ISA wrapper. I will give it some more thought and might sign up on the 1st of October 🤔Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Seems a bit gimmicky? I suspect you're using Moneybox because they had a competitive rate on cash savings? Is there anything to stop you just setting aside £100/mth elsewhere? Moneybox has a 0.45% platform fee, which is 3x what Vanguard charges. There are probably others which are cheaper still (T212 doesn't seem to have any "platform fee" for ETFs, although I assume they make some money from the spread at which they trade or the like?3
