You are so not the only one!

I also fell for the seductive idea of "being ones own boss" and "self employment will give you so much freedom"  and I now feel my company is very demanding.   I remind myself it also has got me out of financial difficulties and rewards me generously for being demanding so big girl knickers it is.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

A few possible fixes for you @South_coast.

    1) Re-size your laptop screen using the diaplay settings (it's based on pixels)
    2) Maximise your display using F11
    3) Invest in a cheap external monitor if you don't already have one (you can have a cheap 27" monitor off big river for less than £80, will pay for itself after 6 hours of the $5 surveys)

I love these surveys, they keep my beer money ticking over, I've got none today :'(

Thanks Ed, I had a feeling these were your bread and butter! How do I do #1 🤔? I am so un-techy! I'm on Windows Whatever-Was-Current-2.5-yrs-Ago

Go to your desktop, right click, left click on "display settings" or similar. Check that your display resolution is set as high as it will go (at least as high as the studies ask for). If you have a "Scale" option, make sure this is at 100% (sometimes Windows decides to increase the scale to make the display settings easier on the eyes, but it reduces the resolution and stops you making $$$). The scale issue was the thing that fixed it for me.

Thank you so much! I've rejected so many of those over the last few weeks, even tried plugging in an external screen, but your fix number 1 worked a treat! <3

I have a feeling fix 1 will be what I need too, however still waiting for my stars to align. Currently have #2 and #3, but missing #1🤦‍♀️!
