Yep! Fortunately, the Chip ISA I opened in April now accepts transfers in, so as soon as the interest lands I will be starting that process! It's a variable rate, but currently 4.84% so more than I'm getting now, plus it's flexible so I can take money out if I need to. So win-win really 👍 Just a shame being a loyal customer of Santander for 11 years gets me nothing!

I'm actually pathetically excited about dropping from 5 savings accounts to 3 once the second ISA matures on 1 January. Been thinking about it all evening - I need to get out more 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

First of the month round-up….
4x extra £50s this month, coming from TopCashBack, receipt scanning, interest, an energy rebate, surveys, some tilly tidies and Vypr. Used them to clear my monthly overspend, so I didn't go into another month with a big minus figure outstanding
Used my new iron for the first time and melted the lapel on a work jacket 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Managed to track down an identical one on Vinted for £7.39, so crisis averted
Got to within £1.12 of my credit limit on one of the 0% cards (a minimum payment of £350+ has since come off the balance, but still….😬). That card now put away for the next few months at least
Had a week off work and reminded myself this is how I want my life to be
Returned to work and reminded myself this is how my life has to be - for another 11 years 🙁
Marked 18 years in my line of work and reminded myself that if I do have to work for another 11 years, I have at least well and truly “broken the back of it”
Daily interest on cash: £6.16
Owed on 0% credit: £47,978.05
0% neutral fund: £11,221.91 (23%)
11.06 years to go….bored of going backwards!

well done on the quick isa transfer and that cc going downDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
