@South_coast does very good ZipZero tips - shame they're stingy sods!3

That I can't help with, Ed. But I can offer some tips 🤣!
Right, so there are two types of ways to earn with ZipZero: online shopping and in-store. The online shopping works like the TopCashBack and Quidco's of this world (actually, I've never used Quidco, but I'm assuming it's the same as TopCashBack), so you click on the offer and click through to the website to make your purchase. The crucial difference being that they don't automatically track your purchase, you have to manually forward your confirmation email to them - which means if you do it the right way, you can get cashback both from ZipZero and one of the others. Just go through ZipZero first, keep that browser window open (no idea if this makes a difference, but it's what I always do!), then in a new window open your other cashback site and click through and make your purchase via them. Then once you have your confirmation email, forward it on to ZipZero. It used to sometimes take an age/multiple attempts to get their email back saying they've received your email (confirmation that it's in their system), but they seem to have sorted that out now. The list of retailers they are offering cashback with has shrunk considerably, but even if you shop with someone that's not on the list, still send them the confirmation and you'll get 0.01%.
For shopping in-store, again they will give you 0.01% for any itemised receipt (not from overseas though, they told me off - very politely! - for that), but you can get 1% upwards on their in-store offers each week. These refresh every week on a Monday, so I have a little routine of going through them while I'm having my breakfast on a Monday and opting in to any which I think I might feasibly shop with during the course of the week (you must opt in in advance). They will give you the bonus cashback on the first receipt you upload, rather than the first transaction you make, so if you shop at a particular retailer more than once during the course of the week, hang on to all the receipts and upload them before the end of Sunday, putting the highest value one through first (one receipt per upload, then add extras with the yellow “add receipt” button at the bottom). They've announced that they're going to change this so you can earn the bonus more than once a week, and this week you've been able to get 4% at Asda up to three times. If you have any issues with receipts/transactions not tracking at the correct amount, just get in touch with them. I have found them to be really helpful (and super perky 😀)
Hope that helps!

FWIW, I don't think you need to keep the browser window open after selecting a retailer for cashback at ZipZero. I regularly select the retailer in ZZ on my phone and then make the purchase via the other cashback site on my laptop. Sending them the email seems to be the key thing.

Tx for the zipzero tips.
And yes we do need to make time
I am ignoring the xmas build up and having a pause on the shopping too.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
