Everything currently switched off 🤣🤣. It’s forecast to rain tonight and melt it all away. I’m in west Yorkshire and 800ft above sea level so we’ve a lovely covering ! My FB feed is full of cars stuck, farmers have been getting them all out.Sealed pot challenge 822

Yep, we've had a few upturned cars and a van round here, and very sadly a fatal collision this morning, just up the road 😕

Yep, things have taken a rather soggy, and foggy, turn here today 🙄 Still plenty of snow around but it's melting fast.
STILL no job news, and I strongly suspect there won't be before the weekend at this point 😠 Hey ho. I've had to chase them at every stage so far. Their own process said they'd shortlist in 2 weeks - I emailed when I still hadn't heard after 4, and it took them another week after that. Then they didn't send a document they'd asked us to specifically refer to in our presentation - I asked for that, and had to ask again a week later when I'd still not had it. And now they said they'd let us know early this week, and it's Friday and still no word 🙄
I hope they take this lax approach to any deadlines they set me if I get the job 😂
Anyway, a nice calm day here. Cafe breakfast, popped into town for some errands, and now home and contemplating some kind of activity. Back with a list I think.13 -

Yes, I think they are. Not intentionally I don't think - I suspect just busy - but if it was me I'd be communicating that there was a delay in the process and giving an updated timescale.
But they're probably just not as focused on this process as me, and might not even realise it was almost a fortnight ago 🙄
Anyway, I caved and emailed them about 3.45 today. Not had a response of course, but at least it'll be on someone's desk first thing Monday 🙄
In the meantime, I took myself off for a walk in the fog, and I'm SO glad I did, because 5 minutes up the road the fog started clearing and I was faced with this:
How beautiful! I ended up coming home the long way round, I was out for an hour in the end. I realised as I got home I hadn't even put a podcast on like I usually would, just spent an hour listening to my own thoughts and the sound of silence, which is actually quite unusual for me. I feel quite peaceful now though (and also quite tired 😂)16 -
