Hmm, no email from the Coop where I am. Couldn't see any info on their app either. Will wait and see I guess.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Seller doesn't do returns?! I may be late to the party here and have missed key info but isn't it a legal requirement?! Love Humdinger xx3

Have you considered boot stretchers? I have never tried these myself but have often wondered about them as I have rather robust calves3
-
@Humdinger1 not if it’s a private seller, which it will be in all likelihood.I had the coop letter too - my 28p isn’t going to go far! And I wouldn’t mind, but I didn’t get the member price the other day on the eggs I bought. I had an offer for 25p off credited (on my card, so the till knew I had my card), but paid the higher price in the first place. By the time I realised, it was too late and I couldn’t be bothered with queuing to see a member of staf, but I hope it doesn’t happen again.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

They're several centimeters short of going round my calf, with the best will in the world I don't think they'll stretch that much sadly 😂😂
Bit of snow here, but not enough to prevent going to work (well, I wouldn't bother going in if it was just me, but Mr Cheery's got a hospital appointment near work so we might as well both travel together).6 -
Right, I've opened a return request anyway, and we'll see how they respond. And if they won't accept it, I might feel moved to suggest to ebay that they maybe don't meet the requirements of being a private seller...
Mr Cheery has woken up with my cold 🙄 spoke to the (dental) hospital and they've rearranged. No point me going in when I don't technically need to, especially not when it's snowing, so I'm going to cosy up and work at home.5 -
Ooh, quick response from the seller, yes, she'll accept the return but not refund either set of postage, which is fair enough! Need to decide whether to just return or sell on myself now!4

Just nipped into town to pick up Mr Cheery's prescription and some assorted medical supplies. The bargain shop was open - we refer to it as the Secret Shop as it has no shop sign, and is down a back alley with very little indication that it's there at all, but is actually quite full and packed to the rafters with bargains 😂 Anyway, I managed to get all the cold & flu tablets etc there, much cheaper than the chemist (I was popping into the small version of a supermarket not the big one, and didn't hold out much hope for their own brand stuff being available).
Also picked up some experimental headlight repair tape - it's not as smashed in as Mr Cheery's initial reports would have had me believe, so this may well be adequate for now. We'll see.
Right, best make up for that interlude with a bit more work i suppose 🙄6 -
I also got the cOOp email and message on the app so as I was in there yesterday anyhoo I spent the £1.45 I had clocked up and 'earned' another 18p. Apparently they're going to be concentrating on 'member offers' here at any rate but they are generally for things I don't buy ever or rarely like frozen pizza, ready meals, pre chopped veg, fizzy drinks, beer or ice cream.5
