OH has been really diligent with his Prolific surveys this month doing many of those long one hour offerings that I have neither the time nor patience for! He's up to 90 so far ready to cash out. I think he's averaged 75 a month for the last three months!
On the other hand, I've got a measly 2.50 so not even enough to cash out. I have to remind myself that we are a completely different demographic, and my work server blocks the site, so no surveys at coffee breaks or during lunch unless I'm working from home.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Gosh, that's impressive RT! Mr Cheery had several last night that weren't appearing for me, but didn't want to do them because they lasted 20 minutes 🙄 I'm sure he'll get into the swing of it once the dosh starts climbing a bit, he actually enjoyed the first one he did.
His friend is coming to stay this week and I'm hoping he'll either be able to properly fix Mr Cheery's laptop that was fried by the lightening, or declare it properly dead so we can buy a new one. He's been using mine for the last 2 months which is rather annoying - it serves as the TV so stays plugged in to the big screen under cabinet, and he uses it a LOT, which means it's not just there handy for me to use, I have to mess about unplugging it, and ask him to stop what he's doing, which means I usually don't. Very much looking forward to getting it back, partly for more regular blog posts, but also for more prolific surveys! 😂 I can do them on the work one, but not when I'm connected to the VPN (which is a lot of the time at the minute) - and also it's quite disruptive to work!
Anyway, today. Weather is ok this morning, stormy this afternoon, so I'm going to get up and outside now so we can do inside things and errands later. Got about 3 hours of my latest audio book left so maybe I can finish that in the garden before the rain kicks in... 😂4 -
I'm another that can't be bothered with the longer surveys! I tend to only do ones that last a few minutes - I've just completed one which said 9 minutes and then when I read the pre-survey blurb it said up to 20 minutes! I did it and it actually took about 15 minutes so not too bad. I just pass on those hour long ones - I get fed up after a short time although some of the surveys are quite interesting.5

Im *so* impressed with the surveys, I faff a lot but not usefully. Must do better!2023: the year I get to buy a car5

O'd do longer ones if they ever showed up when I had time - I find most don't take as long as they say, but it all depends of circumstances of course.
Another row of scything finished - that's 8 in total now. By the end of August last year I was up to 9 (and then didn't get much further) - hoping to beat that given that I'm off work for a few days now!
Washing is hung out, but it all got tangled inside the duvet cover and hasn't spun properly so it's quite soggy 🙄 torn between hanging it on the line and giving it an extra spin - I've chosen the line, but if it does rain later it might get spun anyway 🙄 I've realised I do have 2 clean duvet covers anyway so doesn't really matter for visitors, but I'd rather dry it outside than have it draped in the house!
Mr Cheery wants an excursion, and we need a supermarket trip, so I'd best get my act together.5 -

Me too, but I have a fixed number of hours for actual work - and also my brain couldn't cope with much more of that, whereas I can cope with a list of surveys that I can take or leave on any given day. I can see if I could do lucrative overtime, or if work was self employed and I could easily make more cash, then this wouldn't necessarily make sense.
Ditching a few cafe trips would be more lucrative quite frankly but I'm not willing to do that at this point 😂

Much easier for me as I'm retired so it's just something I can pick up and do if I feel like it - it's just a little bit of extra money which gets used whenever DH or I buy stuff online via Paypal as just leave the money in there until needed - but it seems something is "needed" every month so far so it's been used and not just left there!5
-
Oh that's annoying joedenise! I tend to withdraw stuff from PayPal straight away so I can track it as income in the bank - that was if it does get spent, at least I feel like it came in before it went out 😂5
-
Well at least it saves money coming out of the bank account!
