...I was thinking expenses might have to wait til I got back but in fact I think I can take a photo of my train tickets rather than waiting for the scanner...
Cheery - if you have an @ndroid phone, try MS Lens - it's an app that scans to pdf - used it with great success during lockdown to submit claims for expenses, without the faff of plugging in & turning on our scanner/printer.

I used to work with someone with epilepsy.  Alone in the office with her & no-one had the sense to tell me.  It wasn't until I wondered what was going on when she was banging her head on the desk that I realised there could be a problem.  I dealt with it for several years without a problem until someone new worked there & decided that they knew better & wouldn't let me deal with it.  They restrained her instead of protecting her & made it much worse.  She was absolutely furious as they called an ambulance & they tried to pump her full of drugs.

Oh, goodness @badmemory - that's terrible.  As you will know from working with your colleague you should never restrain someone having a seizure, and if there is a history of epilepsy then no need to call an ambulance unless the seizure goes over 4 minutes, at which point they are bordering on status eplilepticus and will probably need medical treatment.
