I'm at a funeral tomorrow and one of the ladies has just told me she's made trifle for the wake afterwards. She makes a beautiful trifle and after all the talk here about it, it will definitely make me smile when I see it tomorrow

Me too.  It is a texture nightmare.  Especially if bananas are involved.

Oooh, I too am at a funeral tomorrow, am now hoping it's the same funeral and that we can both enjoy tucking in.

Aw, I hope both funerals (or the same one) go as well as they can. And that any trifle is delicious. 

I quite agree about bananas in trifle Ramouth!

Sunshine this morning, but gosh it's grim out there now! Wild and windy and rainy, and Mr Cheery is busy hammering the bits of wood back onto the chicken run that I took off the other day 🙄 

I'm trying to get packed and ready for my conference tomorrow. Train is at 6.13am 😱😱 It's only an hour, but I'm presenting in the first session at 9am, so I've given myself chance for the first train to be cancelled and me still get there on time 🙄 And if it all goes smoothly, there will be plenty of time for a sit down and a cuppa! 😁
