    We all have days where we are grumpy and out of sorts. I tend to find a good night's sleep and a fairly productive day the next day sorts it out lost of the time.
    Have you put an hourly plan together for today and getting you list done? I think I recall that helped you before.

    Yep, a good night's sleep usually sorts me out! We walked miles while we were away and then didn't get a lie in, which didn't help!

    Not doing an hourly plan, but perhaps a vague one...

    BEFORE CAFE
    * 30 mins of scything

    ADVENTURES
    * cafe
    * walk
    * pub

    BEFORE TEA TIME
    * ring pensions
    * collect scythe (maybe - might combine this with a trip round town so may save for tomorrow)
    * ceiling
    * hat

    AFTER TEA
    * more scything
    * finances
    * blog post

    Can't see my previous list so may have missed some stuff off it 🙄

    Anyway, if I'm going to do anything before the cafe I'd best get out of bed!

    I'm intrigued by the hat making :) Knitted or felt or something else?

    Received this this morning and thought it might be of interest - especially why 'plant-based' and not 'vegan' (scroll down!)... (I think it was here we discussed this and not on @South_coast's diary!): https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/food-drink/shopping-guide/meat-free-sausages-burgers

    Ooh, thanks for that link, that was an interesting read! Yes, especially in relation to plant-based/vegan (I didn't know plant-based were allowed to have 5% eggs/dairy in), and in relation to which companies own which brands (and what their other activities might be). Interesting stuff.

    Ha, well other than cafe, walk, and pub lunch, I did NOTHING off my list today!! 😮😮😂😂

    Didn't get home from pub lunch til almost 4 🙄😂 We walked about 5 miles, and ate ourselves silly, and had a lovely chat 😁 Then I just loafed around for an hour, we shut the chickens in and Mr Cheery wanted a jaunt into town, then I had a lovely long bath 😁

    So now i need another, very similar, list for tomorrow... 🤔😂

    MORNING
    * scything
    * Town to collect other scythe blade (and kitchen knife - keep looking for that and forgetting I took it to the sharpener 😂)

    AFTERNOON
    * walk to little garden fete being organised by someone local and sprinkle some dosh on the tombola and cake stall 😁 (and nosey round the garden 😁)

    EVENING (From 4.30)
    Mr Cheery is out, so...

    * flylady home blessing hour
    * as much scything as I can manage
    * as much ceiling as I can manage
    * blog post
    * banks/YNAB

    Hopefully should be more productive when there's only me here... 🙄😁😂😂

    Ahhh, so "plant-based" is just a bit of a convenient fudge for manufacturers 🤔! Thanks Vix, very interesting!

    Something else! Mr Cheery likes these:

    https://sterkowski.com/caps/351-9631-linen-balloon-artist-cap.html#/72-size-59_cm/333-color-navy_blue

    But they're not always available in his size. A few years ago I tried making one, it was a bit botched, but I tried again the next year and it was better. I think I've made 4 or 5 now. The beige one I made from an old blind last year is now quite grubby, so I'm attempting a light blue velvet one from an old curtain 😂 I'll post a picture once it's done!

    Lovely day so far - breakfast with Mr Cheery, then a nice 5 mile walk and over indulgent pub lunch with work pal 😁 Only just got back, and so stuffed I might need to just lie around til I've deflated a bit 😂
    Oh well done! You must be seriously talented at making things to make something like that 😊 I can a fair bit and embroider slightly, but something that 3D would be beyond me 😊
