Why not ring up RBS and ask them? No point asking a forum where you might be the only 2 people who had anything similar

Hi, sorry hadn't checked the forum in a while.
I did call rbs a few weeks back as I was curious. It is legit but very unclear if it is because there is definitely money to be claimed or not. They said it could take another couple of months to process. I think they indicated they are sorting them out in batches.
Anyone else heard anything more?0 -
I too had this letter back in October, rang RBS who confirmed it was legit but wouldn't share any detail despite the letter being addressed to me. No further info since?!0

Same with me letter from arkline in October checked if a scam but RBS assured it wasn’t so filled in for and have heard nothing since can’t get any info.0

Hi, I had the same letter last October from arkline, about my deceased mum, I've phoned RBS several times but not had any answers, first I was told I'd hear by Christmas, then March and still nothing. Has anybody heard anything lately?0

I also had letter last October re my late mother. Recently received a letter from RBS stating how much they owe her estate and that I will shortly be getting a cheque. I must admit I had misgivings when received Arkline letter but it appears genuine and that it is just taking time to process.0

Still cant help thinking its a scam0
