My 2 year battle to try to keep our home

Thank guys.
Once/if he fills in the D81 then I have to sign before it goes in to the court so I am hoping sometime in the coming week but it could, easily, be a lot longer. He seems to have moved on some bits but, despite him having been living with someone else for 15months he was livid that the decree absolute had been put in so I am fearful he will drag out the last of the opportunities for control.
I have had a mega expensive start to the weekend as my daughter had qualified for English finals for her gymnastics so a journey to Telford and hotels, meals and all that jazz!
I need to scrape through to the end of the month/child benefit day without anything too wild. I need petrol today/tomorrow and I have a leaving meal with work on Wednesday but other that I need cheap supermarket trips. I am worried August might be a bit brutal with 3 bored kids!

My friends ex dragged his heels so much that it was costing him 8% per DAY. She's finally free: the 8% wasn't coming out of her settlement, thank goodness, although he tried every trick to hide / spend his money. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2

Phew!
The financial agreement and D81 have been lodged on the court portal today so the end is very much more in sight. My solicitor should get confirmation of receipt in the next couple of days and hopefully a judge will sign them off in the next few weeks.
Even more excitingly, my mortgage has completed today and my new sole mortgage is active
I am slightly grumpy that it appears 6 months of my 2 year fixed period has disappeared in the time my ex has spent delaying, which is frustrating to say the least! The mortgage has been done for the balance in January so I have been paid the difference and now need to ring my new mortgage provider and try to pay the difference so my mortgage goes back down to where it was. I might have to wait until after my first monthly payment has come out, which is quite irritating as I joined a mortgage pay down challenge and my
3 monthly update now shows a biggish increase on my balance!

Fabulous news, so happy for you. XX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -
This is all amazing, I have been reading on tenterhooks, waiting for you to finally get a break! You have done amazingly even if it didn't feel it as it was so tough!3

Wow, great news, happy it's all moving in the right direction. How about paying the repayment onto one of your loans if they are more expensive and then starting the challenge with your new balance. Yes you will be a bit behind, but you can always add the loan payment to your regular mortgage payment. Good luck V x2

Can I just ask how you got your decree absolute if your financial agreement has not yet been signed off by the court? I couldn't apply for mine until I had that stamped document (albeit all electronically).2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
