That it belongs to Currys and you should return it.
If you'd not cancelled the order and Currys had kept your money but not sent you anything, how "conflicted" would you feel about that situation?0 -
Contact Curry’s. They can arrange for it to be collected or maybe send you a label for return.
we all know what you are thinking, you would like Curry’s to say “just keep it” but that is unlikely. I’m sure many of us would feel the same.
I bought 2 identical items from an online pet store, the cat calming spray. Instead of sending the 2 items they sent 2 boxes with a total of 24 items worth over £100. I contacted them and they told me to keep them. We couldn’t have used them all so I gave them to Cats Protection. These things do happen occasionally but unlikely for an expensive piece of electrical equipment.0 -
Follow your moral compass.
Difficult, I know!0 -
Expect to see Curry's debit your card for payment when they realise it is not paid for.0

30 mins later I changed my mind and cancelled the order using the Live Chat on their website. (Not that it matters to this post, but I did so because I decided to buy a gaming computer instead.)
Anyway, the Live Chat customer service agent confirmed he cancelled it and I got an email confirming that.
After 5 - 7 days I was refunded the £449 like he said.
Then today DPD delivered the Xbox to me.I haven't opened it.When I log into Currys website and click "view orders", it says "dispatched" instead of "cancelled". It seems Currys' system doesn't recognise it as a cancelled order, despite the fact I was refunded.
We're a few days away from Christmas (although I don't celebrate Christmas). I could easily sell this for minimum £500 on eBay. Minus eBay's 10% selling fees, that's still £450 on top of the £449 I already recieved from the refund. But I feel conflicted about doing this.So my questions:What should I do/what would you do?What does the law say?

I would steal it from currys by keeping it.0

Currys did exactly this to me when I cancelled a collect at store order
They then sent a rude email saying I had not responded to a non existent query
They then promised to refund but did no To so
Had to do a chargeback on Amex to get my money back.
I would not be wasting any time with such a disorganised company.0
