Check their website for service of papers , every court is different , Manchester court has several emails

    Why not email both ? 2 is better than 1 !!  😁😁😋😋 ( One email , 2 addresses )

  • Would putting down not agreeing to a mediation service be seen in a negative light in front of the judges?

or in this particular case, would a mediation be worthwhile in your opinions?

Whether you agreed or not to mediation won't be revealed to the Judge.

If you go to mediation, how much are you prepared to offer the Claimant?  So, are you conceding some degree of liability?

What do you mean 'in this case'?  Is there reason to think you have no defence?  We rarely read back...and this thread is seven pages long...why do you think your case is different or undefendable?

To clarify - this is for a counterclaim (so i am the claimant technically). They make me an offer (UKPC), not me

This case is a bit different, as the main claimant has discontinued the case, but i am counterclaiming, thus continuing this case.
Is mediation for a counterclaim, where they (UKPC) make an offer a reasonable step?

Sorry, I missed the fact that the shoe was on the other foot here.  Might be interesting to see how they react to the opportunity to enter mediation. I don't think there's anything for you to lose in offering to mediate.

When I made a claim against Fiat they made an acceptable offer but wanted a NDA.  I refused and eventually they caved in.

Interesting. Did you eventually accept the offer without the NDA in place?
