Thanks. Did it detach and blow away, or is it still hanging do you know?

Seen a couple of work type pick ups driving slowly down this road already this afternoon - probs looking for fences to quote for and repair! Luckily ours fine but across the road virtually all down at one house ☹️6

DH got vouchers for climbing the roof of the O2 as part of his retirement gift. He'd better see if he can change them for something else!6

Hope everyone has been OK in the storm.
We've not fared too badly here (up to now) I heard a terrific crash earlier and rushed outside fearing the worst but luckily it was only next doors wheelie bin falling over onto the wall.
Excellent haul at the pantry today - lamb steaks, 3kg of oven chips, 12 southern fried chicken steaks, a hugd box of 60 Indian snacks among other things. Managed to get it all in the freezer god knows how as it was already rammed.
Also went to charity shop and found a pair of boots - leather and unworn. A bargain at £4. I've only had one pair of shoes for ages - my hiking boots which are functional but not very pretty so it will be nice to wear something different.
Day out tomorrow. Need to pick up a few last minute holiday bits and we're taking the kids to one of our local museums which is free so hopefully should be a fairly Frugal day, even though I'll have to feed them.
H's payday Monday and he's got some overtime in so will have a few quid extra. All budgets will reset. His wages generally covel all the essential bills so not much potential for savings but it will be the first month in many we've not ended up using the credit card so I'm happy with that.Total debts £21050! now £10941. 76. Total extra income made in Jan22 £109. 27 Feb 22 £45.25 Total extra income made in 2022 £154.52 Aiming for debt free at 45 - 41 months to go!12 -
We were in the red zone so expected a bit of damage.
All the buildings were ok
All the animals were ok
The waterproof/shade covering on the goose house blew off this afternoon. Took a bit of time to anchor it again but it's ok now.
Total of 9 trees down in and around the house and buildings - all of which were either evergreen or conifers - I couldn't get to the hens this morning as two were across the track, ok now, DH cleared them with his chain saw. None of them came down damaging the building or fences - which was good.
We still have to check the rest of the place, but will do that tomorrow.
We spent quite a bit of time on Thursday driving around making sure all the gates were closed, all the doors were closed and all the roller doors were down to the ground.
Could have been a lot worse but I expect to find more trees down tomorrow when we venture further. Now have at least 9 trees to saw, log and dry for the woodburner in 2023.12
