Sorry not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know of an App I can use and label my bank accounts? All are with the same bank but I’m getting so confused between them. You used to be able to do it in the banking app but no longer. Thank you5

@Beshki Maybe you have to go online (not the app) to label the accounts? That's the way I have to do it.

Doesn,t the app show all your accounts on the same app? We have two accounts labelled No 1 and No 2 and can switch between them as needed. This is Barclays so other banks may be different, or have I misunderstood what you mean?6

The bank have taken away the facility to label or name accounts until further notice due to fraud. I wondered if I could open it and do that from another app.6

Caught up on posts this morning, I had got behind but have been mainly on the frugal wagon apart from one £25 takeaway this weekend that I didn’t enjoy, lesson to self.
I’ve managed to stick with the 45 minute washing machine cycle with no issues, including for bedding and whites although I did buy some of the l!dl version oxi powder but this should last a long time.
Smart meters installed so that’s £50 reward credit - I thought it would be a credit to the account balance but they’ve reduced this months direct debit which is a bonus. This will leave me just £75 short of having one full months expenses in the bank which was the goal I posted in the new year (I know I need more than this but it is a start)- eventually I would like a year in there.Finding that shopping more often is reducing our food waste and also meaning I catch more reductions - 2 large pork and stuffing joints last week in L!dl just £2 each, one cooked and one in freezer. Using their app is also helping me track monthly spends as well as giving me the monthly coupons - spent £270 in January which is great for us (3 adults one child) in a 5 week month. Looking to only spend £200 in Feb and on track so far.11 -
Hmmm not sure.
I'm with Halifax and remane my accounts through the app all the time. I have about 15 different accounts all with different names - I'd get confused otherwise.
Not sure if there's any other way of doing it though.Total debts £21050! now £10941. 76. Total extra income made in Jan22 £109. 27 Feb 22 £45.25 Total extra income made in 2022 £154.52 Aiming for debt free at 45 - 41 months to go!7 -

Gosh lots has happened in the few days since my last visit! You’ve all been super busy!I’m very glad to read I’m not the only one stocking up on food - I think it’s very wise. I have my office shelving to use now as I condensed my folders having finished some training.I had a fabulous olio haul today, it’s all bread and cakes but that’s lunches sorted for a while. I came home and pigged on a pecan pastry which I adore but refuse to pay for. So happy lol
I’ve sat and worked out my pennies, I’m doing okay so far this month. I’ve also written a birthdays list with present ideas so I can keep my eyes open for anything useful. Christmas I’ll do similar if I see anything as I’ve got a sneaking suspicion the vouchers I save with park for may well end up feeding us!I’ve ordered a hydroponic kit for micro greens - it’s simple enough and we will be able to grow all year round. Very pleased with that idea. Will be starting my salads, kale and peas off over the coming month. (Peas nearer March) in the hopes of getting a more regular crop. It’s all last years seeds that were reduced the year before so nothing lost if it doesn’t work.Life happens, live it well.9 -
Visited our local food pantry for the first time today. What a revelation! The staff were all so helpful and we came away with 2 huge bags of food, some pet stuff they'd had donated and a lovely bunch of flowers all for £5. Over £40 worth of stuff, some of it on very short dates but we are happy to use common sense on items like that. Some of the veg has been roasted this afternoon with the last of my garden grown squash from the summer and as I picked up a bag of arborio rice, I'll make a good pan of roasted veg risotto for our lunches for the next few days. Really impressed and it will be a godsend to help us get our bathroom saved for.13
