So annoyed. Great heated throw on Amazon was on offer at £44 down from £65. I saw it whilst I was out and as soon as I was home went to order. Out of stock 😢7

Not surprised the heated throw was out of stock. Read yesterday somewhere that these and thermals are two of the items being most ordered now by the public as ways of keeping their heating costs down.5

I can't recommend my heated hoodie off Amazon enough. I think it was £30, plus the cost of a power bank if you don't have one, and I feel like I have the heating on high, and can walk around freely - all for the cost of charging the powerbank, so a few pence a day. Its brilliant for working from home, and being curled up reading in the evenings.Live the good life where you have been planted.

just been to make my sandwich and found he had cut it off before cooking it. So grill has had to go on again!

@fionaandphil I wasn't eligible for direct debit (had to stay with prepayment meter) last time I asked, due to "failing" the credit check, so am expecting an email from Octopus still. Good luck with your communications.
(I also am stuck with a more expensive broadband provider because the cheapest ones in my area said I failed the credit checks too. My "poor credit" must be down to being a blank slate. In the past couple of weeks I've taken out a credit card and asked for an overdraft so that I can hopefully start to be accepted for paying my own bills!)5 -
I’ve had my octopus account credited with the 66.00 pound and next month my dd will be 20.00 .Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.4

Morning Peeps,
still I manage to use the collected water from the water butt at the bottom of the garden. I am determined to see how far I can get doing this. DH suggested I bubble wrap it too in preparation for winter. Having said that we do OK for not too bad temperatures. I am looking at investing in a larger water butt to go at the end of our well pitched roof to assist too. I want the back garden to still look tidy without us looking like we are nomads at home. The 250 litre water butt has already earned its keep. The next one we are looking to purchase is 800 litres.
I have paid the "deduction" money from our DD for Gas & Electric as still want to make sure we do keep our finances in a good place. It will save them asking me to pay more than I am prepared to at this time.
