Thanks for the tips folks some very good ones, I too use the maci d one. I'm out tomorrow for a lunch with a friend where the main meals are 2 4 1. The food is amazing and we love nice food and its even better when cheaper. @Blackcats I will try an orange cordial and soda instead of the orange cordial and lemonade to save a bit more
Don't get me wrong I still want to support local businesses in the process.
I am in need of shedding some inches and have all the books needed to do this. This is also helping me focus on using food in the freezer and cupboards we are a plenty. I am using the PON books and have renamed them for me to Pinch of no overspending money(Hope the ladies don't mind, actually I might send them an email too) I really am looking at any way of trying to keep a track on things.
Have a good week Peeps

Can I just ask, how much white vinegar do you use, and is it straight out of the bottle?

I just put the same amount as you normally would in the conditioner part of the drawer in the washing machine .Been doing this for years and my towels and clothes stay nice and soft and py purse a little fuller
I also put a tablespoon of ordinary washing soda crystals (70p a kg in Boots )into the powder bit of the drawer and half the amount of powder or washing gel on top.Clothes come out clean and fresh, and my washing detergent lasts twice as long.
Small savings but they add up over time.

July has got off to quite a good start. I don't often see reduced YS now when I'm shopping but L*dl had some reduced meat and other bits and pieces so saved on my grocery budget. Used some loyalty points and discount elsewhere and saved £12.
Changing Broadband supplier at the moment so that'll also save a few pounds each month.
Haven't used much gas so 0 Kw but the June monthly bill was still £8 just for the daily standing charge!. My electricity bill is now correct, there have been some issues with my smart meter for quite a while but it was re-set (twice) remotely which has fixed the problem. At least my bills are now accurate, it has meant an increase in my DD but that should have happened anyway and it's manageable. Thank goodness it's been sorted now before the inevitable October price increase.
Ironically the biggest price increases for me have been cat food rather than my food. I gather it's the same for dogs and probably all animals. Fluffy monster has a mixture of wet and dry food and it's the tins and pouches rather than dry food that have shot up. Thankfully I managed to get him back on SM own brand but even that has gone up but nowhere near as much as the well known brands.8 -

Depends on signal in your area, but I've been with iD for quite some years now.
They currently offer 8Gb/month for £7 (either rolling month or 12 month contract), but you get 10Gb if you sign up for 24 months. For £6/month you can get 5Gb if you sign up for 12 or 24 months (12 months is a limited time deal, would normally be 4Gb).
I'm paying £5/month for 3Gb data, which covers my needs (2 year deal).
All come with unlimited calls and texts, and you can roll data for one month. As I don't use 3Gb I'm starting each month with 6Gb (3Gb rolled from previous month and 3Gb for new month).

@MazzieD I've noticed the cost of cat food going up, my feline usually has a small pouch for her supper but I think I will change to a regular pouch for breakfast & give her a smaller portion of the kibble she grazes on.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Picked up a jigsaw for £3, will give me and my friend a few weekends of entertainment, we usually end up having a meal and a few drinks and lots of chatting, so progress is never too quick on the jigsaw 😉
Off for my second swim of the day now, getting my moneys worth on the swim membership and this morning me and a friend decided we are going to do a big swim challenge next year, so going to have to step back up on the training! Yes! Love having something to aim for.
Other than that, don't think I've got much else to report, just continuing to try and stay frugal as much as I can while still enjoying life, enjoyable doesn't have to be expensive!8 -
