Neighbour parks in my boundary

Private as no access for public but private for use of residents only?thedragon_2 said:It's listed on the site plans as "Private Drive"2 -
This is quite normal on modern developments. Traditional distinctions between public and private no longer apply - things can look public and be private, or look private and be public. The concrete edging and the linear channel drain probably demark between the OP's exclusive+private and the shared+private, and out of shot there's likely to be something else demarking shared+private from the 'estate' roads.Norman_Castle said:If the land outside what are clearly driveways is intended for the sole use of you and your neighbour it needs to be defined properly, at present it appears as part of the road.

I've got the same problem! We've got a shared car park but when we bought our house it did come with a parking space (actually 2) but my neighbours dont accept it, stole our parking signs, what could I do with this? Any idea how could I keep our space? He says doesnt matter what's in our deeds until we got A space..

Worth a new thread. But, please tell us you have Leg Prot on your house insurance? To get the ball rolling, it does matter what's in the deeds - that matters a lot. This fellow sounds like a chancer, so I'd strongly advise having a means of recording any conversations you now have with him. You keep your cool, and be uber-reasonable.If you post what it says in your deeds about your parking spaces, folk on here will likely be able to advise better.0 -
@timcso89 What are your neighbours disputing? Is it that you don’t have 2 parking spaces or are they suggesting you have no parking spaces?Looks like the plan show 7 properties, you at 61 and then 7 spaces with your space marked in red, is that not what you are currently using?0
-
I don't get what the two blocks of red are - The horizontal one seems to show plot/number 63 has one parking spot outside but not the one directly outside their plot.
Are you able to post photos as well as the plan?
What's the vertical red block that seems to run across a number of properties - are these flats next door?0 -
Well unlike the OP, at least you've obtained and posted here the title Plan.
Now what we need to see is the actual wording in the Title deeds.......
Preferable before you bake the cake so that when you invite the neighbour to tea you have definitive facts, backed up by proper paperwork, to use in your friendly discussion!0 -
