When I applied for a Santander Credit Card through MoneySavingExpert there was a £40 Amazon Voucher offer that I have not received. Why is this, or is it a scam?

Do you mean the £40 gift card that you have to claim within 30 days of taking out the card, per the offer terms?

I also have the same query on how to claim this £40 Amazon gift voucher? Can anyone please share the details on this process?
I vaguely remember reading as per the offer terms that this claim has to be done on a third party site within certain number of days after the credit card is approved. Obviously I did not make a note then and now that offer or the web page is not available to view on MoneySavingExpert.
My application for the new Santander Credit card has been approved and have also recieved the card few days ago and account activated.
Thanks.0 -

My daughter applied for a 0% balance transfer card for 21 months with no balance transfer fee and the offer of a £40 amazon voucher.
She was accepted and received her credit card and a few days later received the £40 amazon voucher, which she has now spent. Not sure when the offer ended but it has ended.
She did it herself, direct with Santander and not through any third party site. There was a time limit on applications.
It was not a scam.
You could try contacting Santander, see what they say. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. I read the T&C's as saying you need to take no action until you receive an email from noreply@optimisemedia.com.
Is that not correct, and instead you have to apply for the email to be sent? My card arrived today.0 -
It's designed to catch people out, so yeah it is a scam.
Just one that pays off if you're lucky.

I asked Optimise what happens next and was sent this link
https://omgrefer.com/scc
So you need to allow 30 days from approval of your application before taking it up with Optimise.3 -

The deal is that you have to go via the link MSE provided, and that the administrator of the offer (a company called Optimise) will then send successful applicants an email with claim instructions within 30 days.
I applied for the CC on December 15 and started using the card yesterday. Got the email from Optimise today, requested the Amazon voucher, received it within a couple of hours, and now have added £40 to my available Amazon balance.
So everything worked precisely as advertised. Superb little offer, thank you MSE / Optimise and Santander
People need to just be a little patient, and possibly also check their spam folders.
I now have 10 years to spend the forty quid3 -
We also applied on 15th December and received the emails yesterday. We did have to make the claims using a different browser as the email links only gave blank pages when opened in Firefox.

The terms were clear - you wait for an email - which will arrive within 30 days, you follow the link and you get the £40 voucher.
Easy peasy. Got mine a few days after I got the credit card. Incredibly easy offer. No luck involved at all.
If you think that's 'designed to catch people out' you have a very low opinion of people's abilities!!0
