It is up to the CCBC how they accept it but an .rtf allows it to be edited whereas. pdf is secure(ish).

Hi guys, 

So I now have a court claim received and have until the 16th of September to come up with a witness statement. It says I actually have to attend court in person? 

Not going to lie i'm panicking, I have no idea where to even start. I looked at a witness statement in the newbies thread and it's 25 pages long?? I have no way of taking actual photos I don't live there anymore, I have the ones from this thread but no idea how to even collate all the information. I certainly don't want to take a day off work to go to court is that likely to happen? Never had to do anything like this before.

The latest examples of witness statements are by posters @aphex007 and @Daiapolon2021 which you use for style and format.  Of course you put your own evidence which should back up what you said in your defence.

I thought I'd draw your attention to this fairly recent thread which you might have missed. You must keep going through all the necessary court procedure phases, but the hope is that your case ends like all those detailed in the thread.

No need to panic ... that's what these low life legals want you to do .......  This is a step by step process to spank DCBL in court  ... and you will do. 

Not  long ago, DCBL had a mega court spanking for their client VCS .... £1000 awarded to the defendent

No reason in your case that DCBL WILL NOT RECEIVE another court spanking

DCBL know that, so will they discontinue the rubbish they preach .... stick with it, these creatures are very odd

I should get onto the witness statement by the 16th. And pray that it gets discontinued as you say.

Yeah I really didn't think they would chase me for £100 adding costs as they please 4-5 years down the line!

I'll try not to panic and have a look through some WS examples, alot of them are 25 pages long. So I was panicking thinking I don't have 25 pages of writing and evidence. But the bulk of it would be a copy and paste job with case studies etc I think?

Yes, just like the defence stage, the WS and exhibits we point you to are there to be copied & adapted.

Authorities and exhibits, not 'case studies'.

Remember that the CONTENT of the examples are specific to other posters' defences and you will need to supply content that is specific to your defence, i.e. it backs up and supports what you wrote in your defence.  Use the examples shown for help with format and style.
