that's the exact same scenario in reverse, we're thinking to get the booster as there *should* be a way to get it register there (there's a clear process as long as we can get proof here)

@michael1234 , you should be able to use the records in local app (I won't post the name of the app for your privacy) in both the UK and EU under the Europe-wide (EU, EU+, whatever you want to call it) single vaccine passport scheme, just not through the UK app (yet). If you need help getting the app activated I'll discuss it by PM as it's not relevant to those in the UK. I've been through the process this year for reasons other to yours.

@rexmedorum , at the moment you can't add a foreign vaccine to a UK record (it seems you want to do this), but I believe can use an internationally administered vaccine in the same way as a UK one for a number of countries avoiding the need for an LFD.

@CKhalvashi not it's the other way round. Already know how to add the UK vaccine to the foreig reccord, but that isn't possible without any proof of course.

That proof should be able to come on paper from 119. If the person in question is resident in the UK, they should be able to register with a GP and will therefore have an NHS number after this where vaccine records can be added once found.
