Type of bulb required for cooker hood?

I'm struggling to work out exactly what type of bulb I need for my cooker hood:
The opening for the bulb itself is about 450mm. The base socket has a gap of about 10-12mm where the bulb pins get inserted.
With the previous bulb that was in there (halogen spot), the pins were only around 5mm apart however the pins were very thin and they had been bent outwards so as to fit into the socket. Looked like a slight bodge job, so does anyone know the exact bulb I need?
Thanks!

Model would help but I suspect a Gu5.3 (MR16) halogen0

The make and model of the extractor is going to help people respond here....The cooker hood is this one:Unfortunately it is not much help as the spots they show in the manual are the one with the different type of pin (the screw one) which doesn't fit into the sockets which have been installed.

The problem being that the pin spacing in the socket is more like 10mm and I can't seem to see any GU5 bulb where the pins are long/bendy enough to maneuver into the socket holes. They all seem to be small and rigid like these ones - https://www.budgetlight.co.uk/philips-ledspot-vle-gu5-3-mr16-7w-840-60d-master-dimmable-replaces-50w?channable=404441736b75003837313836393638313536343930&qcd=1&utm_gst=26b4a91119743cd815d2c18dd902db50ef4acd02&msclkid=0c7ab05ca2f9140ebaa7d1e56f92547a&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=S | Shopping&utm_term=4582833208422873&utm_content=01 | Philips

Well the manual says one thing, but what has been installed is something different! The sockets that are fitted do not fit G10 bulbs.

Sounds like the socket might be G8.5, if you need something a bit like G5 but with the pins further apart.0 -
Yes that's where I start getting confused as all the larger bulbs like 8.5 and 12 seem to be tube/capsule rather than spotlight.0

Any markings on the old bulbs to give a clue ?
