it was awful but we dealt with it and all i wanted really was an apology which they wont give - they have admitted liabilty but not fault

    An apology is a courtesy. I can't get over them not offering you an apology - that really is abysmal. (I am gobsmacked)...

I'm being really nosey now so tell me to buzz off - did you sue the trust or the doctor in question? Did you / are you going to complain to the GMC about the doctor (he should't have performed surgery if he wasn't capable)?

I cant belive it - am in total shock and i want my hubby and son (mollie in bed) sams school christmas production tonigght and andy, oh i want andy

Yup, no amount of money is a substitute for an apology. What is it with people that they cannot eat a little humble pie? Good for you that you have turned this negative into a positive, and made it into a life changing moment. Not that I would want to go through that to clear my debts:eek: , but then I'm nearly fifty and a bloke to boot:rotfl:

PS Dont forget to drink a pint of water before bedtime;)
