ublock origin blocking forum posting

Sorry I dont disable adblock for anyone, not even for regular forums I use.

I' just temporarily disabled it to post here, and will be re-enabling it after this post.

uBlock origin is definately blocking me from posting on forum. I press post discussion, button goes grey to tell me I pressed it, but then the page doeen't refresh or post anything.

Does the add on not have settings like a whitelist .

Working fine here in FF 95 but I do have MSE as a trusted site.

edit: Just removed MSE as a trusted site and hasn't made a difference, not sure why I had to add it, but it could be on one of the whitelists I use.

About a year ago I removed UBlock and installed AdBlocker Ultimate. Can't remember what issues I was having with Ublock but Adblocker has been fine.

I use UBlock with various filters to make using this forum a reasonable experience rather than a UI nightmare. But yes - the filters which hide certain parts (like the left menu) from being displayed also hide the Create Post button. I can live with that minor inconvenience, and I don't have such a tin foil hat mindset that turning off UBlock for a brief period is going to bring economic or emotional devastation down on me

I use uBlock Origin, and don't have any problems posting here.

I have noticed that some sites work a LOT better if you enable the filter named "uBlock filters - Annoyances".

Maybe that would resolve the issue?

For me it wouldn't, as the Create Post button is part of the left menu DIV - which I hide with a filter so I can use a lot more of the screen for useful things (like the posts themselves. I have other filters which stretch the content to use the freed-up space).

I don't have any other problems with posting replies though.
