Just done a cifas sar it’s come back clean apart from these, would there be anything to worry about or is that a genuine check from the bank?

It'll be a genuine check by Santander as it states the question is what triggered them doing the checks? Is it because you applied for a loan? Or someone else applied for loan in your name?
May help if you explain why you're doing the DSAR request in the first place.0 -
Basically I don’t use my Santander a lot-it’s more for savings, I passed my driving test 3 weeks ago and last Friday transferred in 5.5k for a car from my tsb in my own name, they flagged the payment as unusual and blocked my account while they investigate I’ve sent them proof it’s come from me etx and they said they’ll get back to me asap, so I’m guessing the searches by them are regular when it comes to flagged paymentsSandtree said:It'll be a genuine check by Santander as it states the question is what triggered them doing the checks? I would imagine the multiple applications and bank accounts with Fineco, Starling, Nationwide, Santander and TSB + trying to withdraw money from your parents PayPal account to your debit card isn’t likely to be working in your favour. If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing2 -

I’m always travelling around Europe,I need a few diff bank accounts the cifas I had removed in the past was a mistake by starling hence why it got removed so easily, never had anything else really like that, however my details did get leaked and had a few finance things taken out in my name when was 17 luckily I’ve also managed to get all these removedMrFrugalFever said:I would imagine the multiple applications and bank accounts with Fineco, Starling, Nationwide, Santander and TSB + trying to withdraw money from your parents PayPal account to your debit card isn’t likely to be working in your favour.0 -
But you've also had your TSB account locked as a payment was flagged there. Flagging a potentially fraudulent transaction doesn't get you locked out of an account so you've obviously done something to upset them.kieran_coster said:MrFrugalFever said:I would imagine the multiple applications and bank accounts with Fineco, Starling, Nationwide, Santander and TSB + trying to withdraw money from your parents PayPal account to your debit card isn’t likely to be working in your favour.

My tsb was flagged due to a incoming payment from eBay-as they go straight to your bank now,I’ve sent them evidence of eBay email etc that’ll be unblocked in a few daysHeinzVarieties said:

That's really weird and the fact they flagged it is a concern.kieran_coster said:

Theres no reason for a bank to flag an incoming payment from eBay. Mine certainly didn't when I moved to managed payments0 -
Yep was only £849 and I’ve been using managed payments for a while not sure why that one flagged up I’ve got all emails from eBay and everything so just waiting for tsb to look at itHeinzVarieties said:

Perhaps it was the whereabouts and the transactional data from the source/senders side that’s flagged (I.e TSB are trying to prevent you from coming to any financial harm)?kieran_coster said:HeinzVarieties said:Yep was only £849 and I’ve been using managed payments for a while not sure why that one flagged up I’ve got all emails from eBay and everything so just waiting for tsb to look at itIf you believe you can, you will.
