Openreach Switch

Hello All,
I'm currently with Plusnet - contract ending Feb 1st. Today I have placed my broadband order with NowTV broadband - go live on the 23rd December.
Before switching I looked on various websites who advised I did not need to give notice to Plusnet as NowTV is a fellow Openreach provider and that there will be no early termination fees. I'm starting to get a tad worried though as I haven't informed Plusnet which is the first time I've switched in this manner.
Does this all sound ok? Any help much appreciated.

Are you sure about early termination fees?Being on the BT network has nothing to do with it. If your agreement for Plusnet and deal expires on the 1st of Feb, and you leave before 1st of Feb, exit fees will apply from Plusnet. There is no switching window like you see in energy. But yes switching on the BT network is just a case of pick somebody else, sign up with them, you swap/reconfigure a router on switchover day, job done. You speak to nobody.0

I got an email from Plusnet with an 'account review' stating : If you decide to leave before the end of your current contract you can do so without paying any early termination fees by getting in touch with us on 0800 587 1942 and giving 14 days’ notice.0

I've just spoke with Plusnet to give them verbal 14 days notice and the guy said no early termination fees so fingers crossed!0

You, of course, mean the OR (OpenReach) network, don't you!
