Filing a defence is merely making the score fifteen all in a tennis match , definitely not over and nowhere near the end , plenty of work to do and points to win and counter before game , set and match , you have gone 50 miles on a 500 mile journey !
Game set and match happens when either
1) the claimant parking company discontinue
Or
2) a judge decides the score , in court
You really do need to study the 12 numbered steps , plus keep checking your MCOL claim history
It could be summer before one of those 2 happen2 -
Thanks Jenni. I think I'm on the right post and it tells me that CBBC should send me a DQ N180 form, I haven't received this.

Periodically check your MCOL filing history. When that updates to say one has been sent out, download it from the website, complete it and return it (by email - same address as for the defence) - you don't need to wait for the postal copy.

just checked mcol and last entry is defence receipt 29.12, so that means wait and just file this notice of intention to proceed, right?0

You never showed us your Defence before submitting it, where you would have received feedback on it. Did you use the Defence template without alteration (apart from paras 2 and 3 which should have contained your version of events)? If so, can we see what you submitted - only the parts you constructed in your own words, no need for the paragraphs you didn't change. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Correct , it's probably too early for the CCBC to post the N180 , so keep checking MCOL claim history and your letter post toosarah_joy8 said:just checked mcol and last entry is defence receipt 29.12, so that means wait and just file this notice of intention to proceed, right?
Once it's been sent , download it , fill it in , email it to the claimant and the ccbcaq1 -
Hello good people. I finally received the N180. Filled it all in as per the post by @bargepole. Deadline is 28.02. I will be posting to Northampton tomorrow and a copy to the other side. My question is shall I send both recorded delivery and do I send the other copy to Britannia Parking or Bwlegal, who represents them? I really do appreciate all the help from this group, this is all giving so much anxiety. I am a carer to my disabled husband and I already suffer from sleepless nights as it is. This on top is just driving me insane.0

What's all this talk about 'posting'? Why are you thinking of using 'recorded delivery'?sarah_joy8 said:Hello good people. I finally received the N180. Filled it all in as per the post by @bargepole. Go back to that list you were following when you filed your Defence.
You were pointed back to that list on 27 January at 11:52AM.
You appear to have given up on that list again.
You now need to be reading items 8, 9, 10 and 11 on that list.
For your convenience I'll repeat them here...

Never use a paid for postal service. The recipient could refuse to accept it and would then have proof it was not received, which is the exact opposite to what you want.
Ideally, download the N180, fill it in, save it, print it, sign it, scan it and email it.
If you ever need to post something, send it first class post from a Post Office counter ensuring you obtain the extremely important free proof of posting.
Send everything to both parties (claimant's solicitor and court). If in doubt, always send everything to both from now on.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Thank you so much for the reply. I just automatically read the instructions on the N180 form regarding posting and completely forgot about the post, @KeithP. I will send the emails today and once again, I appreciate all the help. Take care everyone.2
