Getting refund for cancelled phone contract
Hi there, hope you can help? I recently upgraded my phone contract with 3 to then see online I can get much a better deal as a new customer. So as I was in my 14 days cooling off of the upgrade I cancelled, returned the phone (which Royal Mail says has been delivered to them) and took out a new contract (all the same details, same number ect) but for much less per month. However, since then, 3 have failed to cancel the old contract and have continued to charge me for 2 months. I have phoned them around 10/11 times to try and get my money back, every time I phone I am told they will get a manager to ring me back within 24 hours, this never happens! I am really at a loss of what to do, I just want my money back, it amounts to about £100 and plus all the time I have spent on the phone to them! Please can anyone help me or suggest what I do next?

The vagrancies of the mobile phone business - you can't take up a new deal and keep your number without a CS operative approving it.
