Ryanair flight cancellation - how much should they refund?

Ryanair have cancelled our flight next Sept (2022) - our booking has been changed at least twice due to Covid but Ryanair wouldn't give us free change as we booked the initial flight before Covid started - in total we have spent 415 euros to get to where we are with the flight - are they obliged to refund the full amount? Our last booking email has that on as the full amount paid. And for anyone wondering why we didn't just leave the original booking each time it changed the change fee was less than a new booking including priority boarding and bags. I feel that morally we should have the refund

I didn't believe they were, as per your contract with them, but would be required to refund the original fare and any additional fares in the change.

The website suggests otherwise, but it looks like the information and have changed recently if this is the case. A quick browse of the terms doesn't uncover that the change fee isn't refundable, so it may be worth taking this with Ryanair directly if you're not happy with what you've been offered.
