Lloyds £3 fee?

Perhaps they are two very different processes. Not as easy as calculating who to charge and who not to.Wheres_My_Cashback said:Does seem very pointless debiting and then crediting the £3 a couple of hours later.0 -

Nothing happened this month, have they scrapped the fee or is it late happening?
Do you happen to know if the £3 is credited back if you pay in £1500 in the current calendar month or do we need to pay in £1500 in the previous month? I only ask because you've said '...then it's automatically credited back if you paid in the required £1500.'. I presume in your case the pay-in has always happened in the previous month and it's not the case that once you see the fee charged, you've paid in £1500 and the fee credited back?
Had a look at the terms, but it's not particularly clear if the fee is charged if the pay-in didn't happen in the previous month (as opposed to the current month):If you pay £1,500 or more into the account Club Lloyds in any calendar month, the Club Lloyds
maintaining the account fee for that monthly billing period won’t apply.I opened account in mid October, didn't see a fee charged in October, or November. Yesterday a fee of £3 has been charged. Not sure if it's for November, or December or even October.
As someone here said October would have been Fee-free as they allow a grace period. So, I reckon the fee was for November (as I hadn't paid in £1500 - I had issues with receiving the activation code to setup Internet banking, so was hesitant to deposit the £1500). If I deposit £1500 in December there shouldn't be a fee charged in January I reckon. Lets' see

The fee charged is always for the previous month. I believe if you've opened an account say sometime in October they fee may not apply until you've had at least a full month of it being open. Don't obviously go on my say so but that's how Halifax work I believe. To be safe when opening such accounts I alway fire an amount (in this case £1500) straight through the account.OceanSound said:Brewer21 said:Have I missed something about Lloyds Reward account £3 fee, it's not happened this month (December) Both my wife's and my account usually get charged the fee then it's automatically credited back if you paid in the required £1500. So this months fee and credit if you've met the terms will be for November and so on.
I never wait for the fee to appear, usually around the first 2-3 days of the month (late this month) my transfer of £1500 usually happens around the 3rd week in the month.👍0 -

Halifax terms are a lot clearer according to this post:
From the T & Cs:For example, if you opened your account on the 10th October, the first fee will be charged on the 1st December. You pay the monthly maintaining the account fee in arrears and your first fee will be charged when the account has been open for one full calendar month.
BTW, does anyone know how to do a quote within a quote?..It's okay. Figured it out.0
