Lloyds £3 fee?

Have I missed something about Lloyds Reward  account £3 fee, it's not happened this month (December) Both my wife's and my account usually get charged the fee then it's automatically credited back if you paid in the required £1500. Nothing happened this month, have they scrapped the fee or is it late happening?

Just checked mine and the fee hasn’t gone out then back in for me either.

Well spotted.    Just checked mine and it hasn't come out of mine either.

I'm going to not pay anything into the account this month and see what happens.     Bookmark this thread and I'll come back next month and tell you if I have been charged or not.

Yes, that's odd.
Mine is the same- no £3 credit or debit, however the interest has been paid.

Can't think that the charge has been axed- perhaps a 'technical problem!'

I've asked them if the process has changed, via Twitter. I'll post if I get a response.

Does seem very pointless debiting and then crediting the £3 a couple of hours later.

Maybe now it's just those who have to pay are seeing it ?

Which, from another thread, seems to be the way the Halifax Rewards Current Account works (i.e. it's only debited if you have to pay it). Anyway, the Lloyds Twitter team have responded to me saying they aren't aware of any changes, so I'm none the wiser.

It doesn't matter really as long as the reward account terms are met. It obviously does matter to Lloyds though or they wouldn't show or even charge the fee.
