Readily available software can hide IP and MAC addresses etc.

Hiding your IP address is not the same as repeatedly changing it.

Correct, well done. Hence the usage of "etc" after the example of hide.

For the purposes of pedant clarity, you can get software to hide and change your IP address randomly and automatically.

Just because you can't do it or understand it, doesn't mean it can't be done.

Perhaps you would care to explain how it is done - in particular how is the random IP address converted to an appropriate destination for the response.

Google it, fairly easy to get the software. Most VPN's work on the same premise.

Now add a "hacker factor" over the same function and logic as VPN's and you'll be on the right path.
