Hi
Just wondering if anyone knew of any way that I can log a complaint against Vokera re their boiler which my dad uses with LPG? I have got no where with the company themselves and wondering if they are regulated. Many thanks

Some info here, but no, there is no ombudsman for manufacturers.Other chanels may be open to you depending on the nature of your complaint.Did you purchase direct from Vokera, or did you employ a contractor (ideally OFTEC registered) on a 'supply and fit' basis,in which case you have no contractual relaionship with Vokera.

Many thanks, much appreciated. My issue is that my 80 year old father’s boiler which is only 18 months old and within its warranty has broken down 3 times in 10 days. And Vokera are unwilling to send an engineer for 5 days leaving an 80 year old man who lives alone, with no heating or hot water, sitting in his house in two jumpers and a dressing gown. I pleaded his case but they wouldn’t budge. When I said I would get an independent engineer to come out they said that would invalidate the warranty.
I have never known such a lack of compassion and customer care. So just wondering if I have any options to complain to a regulator….0 -
Did you eventually get them to come out and resolve?I'm afraid the only solution ultimately is legal action against the company for failing to honour the warranty, but if they came out within 5 days I doubt a court would rule in your favour. Not much help for your father though......0
