Joint Supplements for Dogs

949 Posts

I've got a 11yr old lab that I used to feed Skinners with Joint Aid mixed into it at the factory but I've changed his diet to senior so looking for a joint supplement. I'm aware of Joint Aid and Yumove but suspect the pet supplement market is a bit like the human market where you can pay for a brand or get an unbranded version that does the same thing for much less e.g. Nurofen £5 or Ibuprofen £1
So good people of MSE what joint supplements/aids for dogs can you recommend?

I can strongly recommend you join the 'Turmeric User Group' on facebook. It was set up by a vet in Australis who spent a ling time researching using turmeric. There is a host of useful information advice available on that site. The admins are very knowledgeable.
