Thank everyone for your beautiful comments they make me feel warm and fuzzy
.
This week my health has taken a punch in the face and this has made me very sad. I am aware that my life is very stressful between job and being single mum. My oldest DD1 has ASN and this is proving challenging at the moment, chuck in an ex that has the backbone of a fart and his overbearing G/F and I am fully aware where the stress comes from. Plus our home although absolutely perfect is small, and feels smaller each day as my children grow in all directions. I have always been lucky and lived in big houses. When I left ex I rented a big house but when buying I bought what I could afford which is not big lol!! There is about £100,000 in equity in the house, maybe £110000.
I am unclear where my debt journey will head once I have cleared PP. Car is refinanced. This week I plan to look at the costs of moving and how much mortgage I could take on. My children love this house and dont want to move and that plays with my emotions but the longing for more space does win over the emotional factor. I am still in a very positive place thanks to amazing friends and a wonderful counsellor. I ve even signed up for a dating app after 7 years of being single, realising I am not quite dead yet.
I have had a very spendy week. I bought myself and kids some clothes, son a razor and another birthday present for my child. This has cost the guts of £400. Not got into debt for this but these spends were not factored into my budget, rather came out of the debt over payment money. I ll be ending January in a good place but very aware that I have a lot of thinking to do around our future home. Change is always painful, even when it is for the best xdebt free £17653.02/ £17653.02, 100% repaid on 31 May 2022, debt free date 25 Dec 20226 -
I purchased my passport for my trip to Sweden and Estonia in April yesterday too at £76. This diary is great at letting me see how unplanned purchases and expenses keep me skint and so keeps me learning with every post!debt free £17653.02/ £17653.02, 100% repaid on 31 May 2022, debt free date 25 Dec 20223

Diary is helping then. I would go for a new house if/when you can afford it. The kids will adapt. I have oodles of space and it makes me happy.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
