You're still doing well - keep it up

Thanks for letting me know.
Not having a great few days, yesterday ordered some car parts to a grand total of ~£160 (albeit out of the vehicle servicing pot), today our pup decided to chow down on an easter egg, rushed to the vets and faced another £130 bill. Our pooch is fine which is the main thing, however I have almost zero spending capabilities remaining. Thankful to have that money set aside.£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Glad the dog is Ok, they’re such a liability aren’t they?! You need eyes in the back of your head.
at least you had the money to pay without having to use a credit card. That’s a positive!

Falling a bit behind with the updates, so why not pay a bit more debt..

That's £80 so far in extra payments, let's go!
Is this month dragging for anyone else? The 18-19 months to go seems like it will be an eternity. Must remain focused!£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Debt Free 27th June 2023 | Diary

I think the more I want pay day to come the slower it seems to go... I'm down to 7 days till pay day now so this last week will really drag!
Just keep plodding, as long as the debt is going down it's a positiveLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £2725 | EF £1035/£1000 | Sabbatical £2541/£3000 | Travel savings £1900 | Sinking pots £32491 -
Oh yeah, the last two weeks before pay day always feel very long. Work's been very busy this month so I didn't have time to think too much about debt, but on a 'usual' less busy month I would look for ways to make some extra money - surveys, odd job apps, ebay/vinted - to keep things going.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Just took up the HSBC switch offer, in exchange for a hard search on the credit file. Not going to be needing any lending products for a while so it's a win only situation. Should qualify for £170 which should contribute towards a big fat PAD plus a dinner for two!
Let's see how long it takes..£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Debt Free 27th June 2023 | Diary

Been evaluating finances since looking at childcare arrangements, both full time workers but also working hard to clear this debt leaving very little left over from my side until the mess is sorted.
Currently looking for 1 day a week, not only for relief for us working parents but to enable our child to socilaise and engage with other children his age which is very important for development. Just for the one day a week we are looking at £240/mo (120 each). This seems very excessive, something will have to give but it's certainly not going to be the debt payments - This needs sorting!
Ultimately this cost likely wouldn't be an issue at all for me if I had no debt to pay, perhaps this is something I could explore starting 2023 and perhaps putting some money aside until then to help in the first instance..£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Debt Free 27th June 2023 | Diary

Evaluated my finances today and glanced over the year ahead in my planner to forecast how things will hopefully go, all is well here, some vehicle maintenance this month factored in. In addition I've hit my weight loss goals for the last 2 weeks, victory PAD!
£5 to CC1, £5 to CC2
