Afternoon all, kicking off today with a £9.20 PAD to CC1. Everything still appears to be on track, albeit not leaving myself with much left over for leisure spending - This is fine, clearing debt is the #1 priority. Started to send money to various pots to cover bills expected over the next 12 months, including Christmas, car/boiler servicing costs etc. Need to remain focused!

That's a decent PAD to make, considering that almost all of mine are just £1's to that remaining CC (unless a Prolific cash out happens) You're doing well, look how far you have come

Not sure why but I'm feeling the financial pinch this month! I think I'm going to be using some of my Prolific cashouts to supplement slightly increased fuel usage this month and grab some last bits ready for our little holiday abroad at the end of the month. Need to pull through and avoid any further unnecessary spending!

Progress Review
Just comparing progress from when I started this thread back in December, it's nice to see how far I've come (looking at the figures!)
CC1 Was £ 3,916.58, Now £ 2,148.44
CC2 Was £ 7,352.29, Now £ 5,593.83
Car (HP) Was £ 9,655.98, Now £ 7,020.78
All in all since December I've paid off an eyewatering £6,161.80 worth of debt.
Interestingly if I stuck to my original plan I would have paid off £4,999.20, so I appear to have overpaid £1,162.60!
I definitely need to keep up the momentum, the end-goal will be worth it.£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Debt Free 27th June 2023 | Diary

It's always a good idea to stop and reflect on just what you've achieved in your debt free journey. It can be quite astonishing really, especially with the little payments adding up!
It certainly looks like you're nailing the overpayments, well done!

You can try and find a balance, so that it feels less of a punishment. I had to, as it all got a bit much at one point.
One thing is for certain, it makes me never want to get into debt again!Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £2725 | EF £1035/£1000 | Sabbatical £2541/£3000 | Travel savings £1900 | Sinking pots £32491 -
Back from the Canaries, not much to report other than I remain on track at this time.
Spending was certainly very high but I'm glad I've kept on the rails in terms of meeting the intended target.
Outstanding debt down to £13,833.65, from £14,763.05. (£929.40 payments made this month).
Another win is that I've managed to continue loosing weight despite eating like a horse whilst I'm away, obviously the extra exercise has given me a higher calorie maintenance to play with!£30,022.05 debt - Completed it mate! Debt Free 27th June 2023 | Diary
